Twinsock information

I had a number of you ask me what Twinsock was based on my last post. I
thought everyone was familiar with it since I had seen posts on it before.
Twinsock is like TIA in that it allows you to use all your SLIP
applications through a regular shell account. it just takes all packets
that would normally go to the machine in which your shell account is on
and forwards them in SLIP format to your remote machine. Therefore you
can use all your pretty windows TCP/IP applications even if your net
provider doesn't have SLIP accounts. Previous versions of Twinsock and
TIA did not work with Cuseeme and many other applications because of the
way they handle ports and IP addresses. I still don't know if TIA works,
i haven't tried the newest version yet.

Hopefully that will answer most of the questions, but if not just e-mail
me and i'll try and dig up the FAQ file for Twinsock.
