At 8:33 AM 4/19/95, David Winet screamed at the top of his keyboard:

>YEAH BUT...
>MY BUDDY'S BEEN WAITING FOR HIS ISDN LINE FOR 8 MONTHS NOW.....

No need to shout. I'm not sure what the point of telling the world-wide
list readership about your buddy's ISDN woes; none of us have the authority
or power to speed it up. A friend of mine got delayed two months by the
floods in Southern Califoria - all the Pacific Bell folks were deployed
all over the area fixing downed phone lines, etc.

Still no need to yell. Any computer store (even Radio Shack) can sell you
an RS-232 hardware-handshaking modem cable for about US$10, your Mac dealer
will do the same for the Mac cable, also about US$10 (at least in San
Francisco a few weeks ago).
