I'm sending on a mac ppc 6100 with 16m ram and no other
applications running at the time on a 128k ISDN line to a BSD
Unix reflector.
The problem that I have is that everytime I try to send on the
higher resolution setting the frames per second rate drops to
practically 0 while the send rate stays at about 30kbps. I've
checked the reception with other machines on our lan and it
takes about 5min for the entire picture to come across, but
they are also recieving about 30kbps.
1. What is being sent when nothing is coming across on the
other side (the audio is off)?
2. Is the fps problem a hardware restriction or an inherent
limitation in the cornell software?
3. Is there a way to get the fps up to a reasonable rate while
still running at a higher resolution?
4. How well would the higher resolution run if I were also
trying to send audio?

If anyone can help me out with one or two answers. I would
really apreciate it.
