I've noted chat problems myself, but I'm a real newbie who's not
sure how long chat should take before a response is to be expected.

Most of the chat I've been sending never gets a response (Cornell
0.90b1, Windows NT). Not that it's fantastic conversation anyway,
but I've found it sort of hard to believe that everyone ignores
everything I say.

Which begs the question, what _are_ the proper min/max settings
with the new beta? (assuming 28.8 dialup, for example).

Do you use the same settings as with the 0.8x versions?
