Subject: Uses of CU-SeeMe and other real-time internet conferencing in the
fields of art conservation and historic preservation.

Colleagues,

I am completing a paper (to be given at the Museums & the Web conference in
Toronto next week) examing uses of the Internet in the fields of art
conservation and historic preservation. In one section I examine the various
means of exchange over the Internet, ranging from the least interactive to the
most. Real-time conferencing such as CU-SeeMe is obviously one of the most
interactive uses.

If anyone knows of any use of CU-SeeMe or other video conferencing in the
fields of conservation and preservation, I should be most appreciative if you
would send an email message to me with whatever information you can provide.
Such uses might range from public education through college and university
courses to advanced conservation lab use.

Many thanks for your help.
