Here is an idea....

I am doing some desktop videoconferencing projects with CU-SeeMe.
I want to setup the Reflector program on our DEC Unix machine
here. I sent the following mesaage to our computing support
person:

>You can ftp Reflector from:
>
>GATED.CORNELL.EDU pub/video/Reflector
>
>-rw-r--r-- 1 0 251 919 Jul 15 16:14 CHANGES
>-rw-r--r-- 1 0 251 14793 Jul 15 16:14 README
>-rw-r--r-- 1 0 251 163840 Jul 15 16:13 reflect.2.30b1.tar
>
>Let me know the outcome when and if you get the time to
>put this up on Baryon.

He responded....

> I have the software but cannot get it to compile on Baryon. I even
>tried to compile it on the Sun we might use for Usenet News - no luck. If
>I have time, I'll try to take a look at the C code. I've never programmed
>in C, however. I have been fortunate in the past that Gopher and WWW stuff
>comes either precompiled or with decent configuration instructions to make
>changes where necessary. This stuff has no such info.

Has anyone had a similar problem? What can I tell him to help
compile the program?

Regards,

Bill
