Many thanks to those of you who listened to the broadcast - the BBC got very excited about the email (and voice-mail) that they received whilst on air. Unfortunately due to the timing most of teh US was probably still asleep but we did have folks from Japan and Australia listening in so the 'global' broadcast was at least a success. Contrary to my pessimistic expectations all the soft/hardware behaved itself perfectly throughout the show - a big vote of thanks to the Cornell team and to Charley Kline for that and for making the whole thing possible in the first place!

We are planning to set up a media on demand server very soon which will allow all of you who missed the show and who would like to hear it to do so at your leisure. A write-up of the broadcast and some info on our future plans can be found at:

whilst more general info about the BBC and it's digital future (!) can be found at:

a big thankyou to those of you who set up local reflectors ...what kind of quality were you getting?

thanks again

Ben
