Although this is apparently true for many machines, it is NOT universally
true. E.g., we have been trying here at Cornell to get reproducible audio
crashes without any luck...with or without video capability. I'm fairly
certain that CU-SeeMe is trashing memory somewhere, and it's only a matter
of luck whether something important gets over-written. Apparently, the way
that stuff loads into memory when you don't have video makes a crash much
more likely, but still not certain...depending on other aspects of your
system configuration. Hopefully, we will get to the bottom of this soon.
