PC- version probs

Presumably I fighting with a trivial problem, but I haven't found a
solution for my problem for receiving audio using the older or the
most recent 0.66b1 version. Installed CU-SeeMe following all the
instruction in detail, but for some reason it won't work to the perfection.

Video is OK. In the File/Sound Devices box the system detects for both
Recording and Playback to be Tropez Audio Device. In the Preferences box Tranmission settings
are blank. I have a direct ethernet connection to Internet, PC486DX,
8MG, Turtle Beach Tropez sound card and I still won't hear a thing
through CU-SM. The wires are connected OK and the sound card properly
installed, though.

Possibly there is no connection between the sound card and the rest
(ethernet?/CU-SM?/drivers?/port settings?/Trumpet Winsock????)
but after fiddling around the system settings for about a week now, for the
moment I've no idea how to start digesting this problem.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you!
