Mac Classic II Question

Hi Mac users,

I have a Mac Enhanced CU-SeeMe user with a Mac Classic II.
They would like to increase the serial data rate based on an Apple Tech
note which states:

- Two serial (RS-232/RS-422) ports, 230 kilobits per second maximum
(up to 0.920 megabits per second if clocked externally)

They currently use a 28.8 kbps modem, but the serial port rate is limitied
to 23 kbps.
Yes, I realize that most 28.8 modems rarely get 28.8 anyways.

Anyhow, anyone know how to achieve the "0.920 megabits per second if
clocked externally"?

Thanks,

Bill
