QuickCams, LCs, & AppleTalk

Hi There!

Could someone please comment on the viability of running pt-2-pt CU-SeeMe
using QuickCams on LC-II ('030, 16bit memory path) or LC-III (32bit path) on
a local AppleTalk network, with MacTCP?

Several issues come to mind, all centered on processor workload. You would
have AppleTalk hangin' off one port, the QuickCam off the other, and '030
splitting it's gut to keep up with both of those and the compression/
decompression algorithm. How valid are these concerns?

Plus there's the question, "why?" This would be an experiment in using video
conferencing in an elementary school...Obviously, the next step would involve
getting out to the network.

John
