Help with this scenario...

Hi --

We played with our QuickCam setup some more and here's what we came
up with.

System A System B
PowerMac 8100/80AV Duo 280 w/ dock II
System 7.5 System 7.5
Flexcam -> AV port QuickCam -> modem port
7.0b14PPC 7.0b14680x0
Ethernet IP connection (same segment)

We could exchange audio and video with the following constraints.
o User B >had to< have the Push to Talk box checked to HEAR audio
from user A
o If User B was not using the Push to talk mode, the little speaker
icon WOULD grey as if audio were being received, but nothing was
being heard
o If User B presses his talk button, user A could not be heard (i.e.
user B felt like it was a half-duplex connection, rather than full.

Are these constraints of how the QuickCam's data is processed at the
system level? Is the serial port interupt not low enough to make a
full-duplex connection? Thanks for any information you can provide.
If you have a QuickCam, please try to connect to me and see if you can
talk to me and still hear my audio... I should have a CD going all day.
