We are running Mac IIsi's on a LAN with a 56k internet connection.
The audio is very choppy. At first I thought the problem was with our
56k line but now I wonder if our machines may be the cause.
Isn't there a certain amout of decompression which has to occur when
the audio packets get to their destination ?
Perhaps our IIsi's are not powerful enouogh to decompress at the
necessary speed.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks,
Ken Malone
p.s.
The sound get worse as more CUSM windows are opened.
The system software is 7.1.
