Bugs in W0.84B3

These are the specs on my workstation (PC):

1. 486DX-50 w/ 16Mb RAM
2. SVGA monitor w/ 1Mb DRAM
3. Novell NetWare 4.x using IPX shim
4. Trumpet WinSock 2.04E
*5. No video input source
*6. Audio support via non [MCI]-compliant speaker driver only

These are the bugs I've seen with CUSeeMe for Windows version W0.84B3:

1. When starting a new connection from a previously closed one, my
"connect" window defaults to a lurker from the previous connection.

2. When trying to access the [File][Video Setup] submenu and options,
without having a video input source, my CUSeeMe session bombs with an
"G.P.F." message. This happens even when I answer either [Ok] or

3. The option [File][Sound Devices] STILL defaults to the speaker
driver, even when [Save as default] option is used. Will not allow
me to default this option to [none]!!!

The following is a wishlist of possible CUSeeMe enhancements:

1. When selecting [Participants][Show Participants Window], those
pretty red and green indicators have been removed (???) Could you
please put them back??? They were very useful!

2. It would be nice if users could have a configurable database (or
a 'hosts' file) when using the [Conference][Connect] submenu. This
file would be separate from the standard TCP/IP 'hosts' file; unique
to the CUSeeMe directory. It would allow for users to add comments
to describe their connections.

Other than that, I'm happier with the newer version, than the older
one. I really like the new built-in chat option! Comes in handy if you
don't have a video camera!!!
I'll let you all know if I find anything else... Later on...

"THERE IS NO SANITY... Just organized CHAOS!!!"
