Obviously the most fun solution would be a robot travelling along the
path (one day...). This is rather expensive and impractical, but the
server which switches between images could perform a morph from one
scene to the next, or spool off a pre-recorded sequence of the move
from one camera to the next.
I know, it's a lot of work. But it would certainly improve the feeling
of being there.
