CyberFair 96 Contest - Share and Unite

Registration for the International "CyberFair 96" sponsored by Cisco and
MCI (and others) and coordinated by Global SchoolNet Foundation will begin
in December 1995.

Building on the global Internet platform, International CyberFair 96
participants will effectively create curricular content for use by
students around the world through cooperation, mutual discovery and
content creation. Participating schools will be asked to conduct a
research project involving community resources and publish their
project on the Internet9s World Wide Web as part ofhe Internet 1996
World Exposition (

Children participating in CyberFair 96 will learn what it means to be
part of a global community. They'll work with groups of children located
around the world, each group putting their local community on-line.
Children will act as "Student Ambassadors," working with local artists,
local business, and the rest of their community to show the world what is
special about *their* place.

One Entry Per School

Grand Prizes will be Awarded in Seven Categories

All Entering Schools will Receive Prizes

On-line HTML Classes Provided to Participants

On-line Awards Ceremony via CU-SeeMe (May 1996)
