After my previous negative post, I downloaded an update version (V1.04)
and was quite successful in making a couple of connections across
the country both in b/w and in colour.

Image is acquired very fast when the application starts and update
all at once during transmission.

Bandwidth is not adjustable but f/s is. In colour mode the sheer amount
of traffic seems to preclude text chat or voice on a V34 connection
(but PowWow still manage to squeeze by ..)
