One can hide them by placing them in the Trash.

OT adds resources to the System; I had to keep a stuffed copy of System on
my drive and decompress it and replace the working one (drag it to the
desktop, put the clean one in its place and reboot) before MacTCP would

BTW, I'm using OT 1.1b11c3 and things seem to be almost stable.
