I've encountered the problem that you describe too on my 7100AV (sys
7.5.1) with a video camera. I don't believe it is related to the QuickCam.
Historically, CU-SeeMe 0.83b3 was released to make sound work on PCI bus
macs. At the time I was so grateful for the release (I was trying to do
netcast of public Univ. of Texas of Dallas events with a 7500) that I
didn't complain about the new version crashing my 7100. I just kept
running CU-SeeMe 0.83b2. Thanks for reminding me of the problem. You're
using a 6100, right?

No, a 7100/66 Non-AV.

Do you have a copy (or a pointer to 0.83b2)?
