My ability to RECEIVE audio was not upgraded by purchase of the 7200
because I could always do that with my old LC-1. The 7200 allowed me to
TRANSMIT audio for the first time without locking up the computer.

I suggest you try audio at first by direct contact with another user. When
connected to a reflector, if the reflector gauges that the data path to
your system is too narrow for audio, it will NOT send audio to you.

I suggest also that you try my "trick" of demoting the other party to
"Invisible" when trying to receive audio. But you really do need at least
a 28,800 bps modem.
