SYBASE OFFERS COMPANY INFORMATION AND LIVE VIEWS OF SAN FRANCISCO
Emeryville, Calif. -- Sybase, Inc. has opened its World Wide Web home page
with BayCam to the public. The home page at <http://www.sybase.com> provides
information on Sybase products and services through easy-to-use hypertext
links. In addition, users can glimpse views of the San Francisco Bay by
clicking the home page "BayCam" button.
The BayCam video camera, mounted atop Sybase's corporate headquarters
building in Emeryville, gives Internet surfers views of the San Francisco Bay
including the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco city skyline. Still
images from BayCam will be refreshed periodically through February. Live
images from the camera will be available beginning March 1. Other goodies at
this site include daily and historic stock prices, information on user
conferences and access to Sybase class schedules. Users can also submit
resumes to Sybase via the home page and download sample source code.
