PC Cu-SeeMe doesn't support sound as far as I am aware. There is a
commerical package for $100 that will do it which could be used to
complement CU-SeeMe. (I work for an ISP in Oklahoma, and we have two of
them on order.) Supposed to be very high quality, and will work on a 14.4k
modem.

If there is any PD/Shareware PC apps that do live sound (not IVC), I'd
love to hear about it (forgive the pun).

I worked for Creative Labs technical support in Stillwater.
Unfortunately, I'm aware that their cards are not capable of recording
and playing sounds at the same time. A friend today told me that the GUS
is capable of it, and make make a better choice for the future of audio
on the net.

I was always wondering how the Cu-SeeMe version on the Mac handled sound.
Can it record and play at the same time? Do they use any kind of mixing
software to merge in multiple voice streams at the same time?
