Is that the Cornell version? If so, then you will need to get the latest
quickcam driver to be able to send in black&white mode. The URL to get this
driver is:

Neither the Cornell CLIENT nor the Cornell REFLECTOR programs support color
at all. Go to to get the Enhanced CU-seeMe for windows if you
insist on transmitting in color, and only go to White Pine reflectors, too.
