Q:Is it possible to use Connectix's $99 QuickCam camera as a video source
(on the Mac versions of CU-SeeMe)?
This camera uses a Mac's serial port (as such, it has a DIN 8 connector).
The README for the Mac version of CU-SeeMe indicates that a Video Spigot
board is necessary. However, that board only supports an RCA connector.
As such, if it is possible to use QuickCam (with the Video Spigot card),
I suspect that some sort of adapter cable is required.
Q: Does such an adapter cable exist (or does anyone know how I can make
such a cable)?
Q: Is anyone using Connectix's QuickCam?
