I have been able to use Cu-SeeMe on an 840AV with the Express Modem control
panel turned on. I can send audio & video on a direct internet connections
(ethernet) with no problems using CU-SeeMe.68k0.70b* and
CU-SeeMe.68k0.80b1. I have used both the Quickcam & a camcorder, but I
always use the built in mic.

Since I use my express modem fax frequently, if I'm using the Quickcam, I
just switch the cables to the geoport. The geoport uses a nine pin
connector, rather than the standard 8 pin that is used by the modem port on
other macs. Has anyone seen a nine pin switch box?

I hope this adds to the confusion, sorry, CONVERSATION.

BTW. I have found the latest version to be quite an improvement, especially
when used over a modem line. From home, the combination of video
send/receive at low frome rate plus the talk window makes quite a useful
communications system.
