"FETCHing" on Macintosh

I have always used the Fetch application on my Macintosh to download the
latest versions of CU-SeeMe (even the PC and reflector files) and I have
never had any problems, until today. Apparently Fetch uses the "dir"
command to get file lists and, at the moment, that seems to be disabled on
gated.cornell.edu. I managed to get the files by FTPing them to our Sun
workstation and then using Fetch to download them to my Mac. I believe I
noticed that gated.cornell.edu reported that /bin/ls was "temporarily"
disabled when I issued the dir command. Can someone at Cornell give us a
status report on this? I'm sure there must a lot of users out there
without alternate means of downloading and who are eager to know when they
will be able to "Fetch" the files again. Thanks,

Stephen
