I get the impression that the politicians are setting the agenda. Its the
easiest way to drum up a bit of prejudice and a few votes right now to make
wild and stupid statements about what goes on on the internet. I have even
seen a survey which claimed that over 80% of the traffic on the internet was
pornographic.

It is a serious subject, and needs discussion in the right place, but I don't
think a technical mailing list should be dominated by it.

There was some talk a while ago of a list for reflector operators to exchange
information on reflector abusers.
