QuickCam and modem on same port?

I have a PowerMac 6100/60 and just got a QuickCam. Naturally, there are
only 2 serial ports for the printer and modem. I set QuickCam to use the
modem port. To avoid having to power down and switch plugs for the QuickCam
and modem on the modem port, I see I can get a serial cable switch from
APS.

I guess the serial cable switch will allow me to use the modem, hang up
the modem and close the serial port, switch the port to the QuickCam cable,
and start QuickCam. WIthout having to power down. Right?

Now, I also got CU-SeeMe for video conferencing. It uses both QuickCam and
the modem at the same time. Can these two can use the one modem port at the
same time. Or will l I have to unplug the printer cable and put QuickCam in
the printer port for video conferencing?
