Only one device at a time can use the capture board. Which brings me to
another point: should CU or other applications crash, they generally don't
let go of the video board and you can get "device already in use" messages
even though your old crashed application is not in the task list or running
should you try to use another video capture app. The only _simple_ cure is
to restart Windows.
