Will I ever be able to use CUSEEME?

Ok. For the tenth time. I have the following setup:

486SX2 50 mz PC, 28.8 USR sportser, Reveal TV500 (aka TV for PC)
capture card, and JVC camcorder, Windows for workgroups 3.11.

I tried for several weeks using the original Cornell version (VO.84B7 I
believe) and I got a brief "Unsupported function" error at start up,
other than that my picture shows up fine in my local window. It just
WILL NOT transmit. I have tried the test site 143.52.51.15, (which BTW
doesn't work anymore); never responds; as well as various other sites,
and no matter what, my picture only appears on about the bottom 1/4" of
the screen. People can only see the bottom 1/4" of my picture, even
though my picture is perfect in my local window. I usually only keep 2
or 3 windows open at once (other peoples' windows), and that doesn't
help either. Oh, and "Charlie" had once said it might be having the
unsupported function error because of the encoding method set
improperly....I haven't changed it, and it is still indeed at 16 Kb/s.

I then tried the newest White Pine version: Don't get the unsupported
function with it, but now I get a quick "Setsockopt error 10042". In
addition to that, no matter how I change the cuseeme.ini settings, I
CAN'T GET RID OF THE DAMN NEGATIVE PHOTO IMAGE! On the good side, I WAS
able to transmit my whole picture (once anyways) with this White Pine
version. So if someone who REALLY knows what can be done to solve these
problems, I *MIGHT* be able to finally get this working after 1 1/2
months.

Please e-mail and public post response if possible.

Thanks for any help!
