Craig,
I'm running on a similar configuration. What is your internet
connection? I'm direct connected through our campus LAN so don't have
any particular BW problems. I'm also using the connectix quickcam on
LPT1. Ctrl-Alt-Del shows the cuseeme task as repsonding ok. Video
response is fine (if the reflector isn't too loaded) although this is
only a few frames per second max.
MY problem is audio. I can't seem to get any kind of decent level
out. Audio reception is fine but the other ends can't hear me or can
just barely hear. That's only if I crank the level on the mixer
control all the way up, stick the mike in my mouth, and shout :-) In
fact I have yet to hear a PC version of cuseeme with working audio.
there may be some but everyone I've asked is either using a Mac (audio
working) or they're not using audio on a PC.
