Greetings:
All you REALLY need is a WinSock-compliant transport (i.e.-Trumpet WinSock,
Chameleon, etc), a modem (perferably 14.4 or higher) and CU-SeeMe. If you're
connected directly to the internet, your connection will be faster, cleaner!
There are a few internet service providers (ISP) that provide WinSock
support for the purposes of third-party software (i.e.-NetCOM, AOL, Prodigy)!
No capture boards or sound cards are required, but they do enhance your
connection. If you would like a capture board, check into the QuickCAM by
Connectix, Inc. This product actually connects via keyboard and printer port
interfaces (big plus for a laptop)!!! If you have a PCMCIA adapter (atleast
a "level-2" PCMCIA), you can put both a modem card AND a sound card into your
laptop!!!

Hope this helps you out (sorry for the overkill),
