"24 Hours in Cyberspace" Web Site Induction into Smithsonian

24 Hours in Cyberspace, a photography exhibition illustrating the global
impact of the Internet on people's lives will open at the Smithsonian
Institution's National Museum of American History on January 23, 1997, in
Washington, DC. In addition, the 24 Hours in Cyberspace Web site,
representing the largest Internet event to date, will be inducted into the
museum's permanent collections in a ceremony during the exhibit launch
event on January 23, making it available to future historians.

Vice President Al Gore and Mrs. Gore are expected to attend the opening.
The Vice President and his wife were both participants in the project.
