Any help to a new subscriber?

System: 7100AV, 80mhz, 32mb memory

Running Enhanced CU-SeeMe Demo & Color QuickCam: "not recognizing
digitizer." In preferences, how should the digitizer and codec be set?
(I'm not worried about audio right now.) All I get for local video is a
lovely(?) amber field. Shouldn't I get an image there?

No manual handy with the QuickCam, please describe even the serial
port hookup, please.
