codecs problem

I have a quick cam and by itself it works fine. When I start Cornel =
CU-seeme or Whitepine CU-ceeme, the system says "no video copression =
(codecs) driver can be started, no video will be sent. With Cornel, no =
video is present in the video box. With whitepine, video is present but =
the error message still calls out.

What do I need to do for loading the proper codecs or where in my =
configuration do I need to look for setup problems.
