Problem with a Compro D-Cam

Hi everybody:

I have just purchased a Compro D-cam. I have installed here at work
in a poor 486 with 8 MB Ram and windows 95 and it works very well.

But...

Installed it at home in a Pentium 100 Mhz 16 MB Win 95 and all I've
got is a black screen. The green light doesn't turn on though it seems the
computer detects the camera. I have changed the parallel port from
SPP to ECP and EPP, I have removed all the other hardware items that
may cause conflict (Printer, Scanner, etc.) but nothing. I have
reinstalled all the software (even windows95).

I have installed it in a friends computer, also a Pentium 100 Mhz and
it works fine. It also works fine on another friends 486.

So...what else could it be....

A recent post makes me wonder if it could be the keyboard plug, because
mine is the only large 5 pin din type and the other ones are the smaller
PS/2 type. Perhaps the keyboard intercept cable for larger pins doesn't
work but could it be the reason of my black screen?

Any input will be appreciate. Thank you very much!!!
