First of all I'd like to say thank you for all of the immediate response
I've been given regarding my problem:
>I recently downloaded the macintosh version of CU-SeeMe from the White Pine
>Software web page. The cool aspect was the TalkFM module combined in the
>download pack. Unfortunately I am having some problems keeping it running
>it keeps saying:
>
>"PB Control Failed Err= -23009"

I've been given some wonderful advice that seems to work fairly well. I
have a 14.4 modem (not for too much longer) and it was suggested for me to
change my transmission rates.
Min. 10
Max 10

It's not very pleasent but at least it doesn't crash, and I find more and
more people who carry on conversations in the talk window. I've been told
that with a 28.8 modem you can have the Max rate up to 20. On my 14.4 I've
had the max rate up to 20 and it would stumble slightly and ultimately
crash if I had tried to send a large packets of audio. I guess for now
start from the bottom and work your way up.

It would seem that the best suggestion I have right now is "Trial and
Error." (no pun intended)

If anyone else has other settings, or situations, I would appreciate
hearing about them.
