Re: List: Video Capture Boards for Windows CU-SEEMe

I had seen dozens of E-mail messages in my mailbox from newcomers to this
mailing list with ALMOST the same kind of problems. I feel most of it comes
from people that DO NOT READ AND KEEP solutions posted by someone else in
this mailing list previously. I would like to see also that discussions in
this forum advance into more challenging issues instead of filling it up
with the classical "I get a reversed video", or something like that.

For that reason, I am reentering an excellent article by Albert Foo
(albert@more.net) that appeared couple of months ago in this same forum,
under the same SUBJECT, and that had been very helpful for some of us for
setting up CU-SEE ME succesfully. This article discusses the first step
involved in a correct configuration, and that is, selecting the right
hardware. I would like to see more contributions to his effort on compiling
a complete list of problems and solutions for different pieces of hardware
(and software), and having the updates to this list posted on a regular
basis. My congratulations to Albert for providing us with this valuable
information. (I hope Albert do not mind me pasting this again!). Here is the
article:
