Dear All,
Mark Gibbons (See below) has the same problem which I, and I am sure
many others have. I have installed a Trumpet Winsock in place of the SunNFS
which our system group provide, so the picture does not dry up after a few
frames, and I can be [x] Tom Servo with no audio. OK, I can also send from a
NTSC laser disk player. If I had the system today, I would be showing it at
a conference within a week.
We have all waited a couple of months since we were told to expect PC
CU-SeeMe with PAL and sound "in a few weeks", "next month". We have seen
mail on this list from alpha testers of the new PC version for ... hm ... 2
months? Could we have an update on the new PC version please?
Yours
Ian

Subject: Problems with Spigot and PAL and CU

Hi

We recently purchased two Spigots for use with CU-Seeme after a
succesful trial with a Video Blaster.

It appears that the spigot driver will not support 160x120 when using
a PAL camera here in the UK - it defaults to 192x144 which we believe
screws up CU-Seeme.

Does anybody know of a workaround for this? We are using NT that is why
we chose the spigot as it is a known working combination.

If not is it possible for CU-Seeme to only use the 160x120 image from
the 192x144 actually scanned?

Help would be much appreciated.

MarK
