Hi Folks:

It has been almost a year since I made a fairly large desktop
videoconferencing presentation on our campus. I've been asked to put on
a similar demo tomorrow night for some 16 and 17 year students who are on
our campus for a state sponsored institute.

The 1995 Michigan State Board of Education Summer Institute for Arts,
Science and Technology is being held on the Michigan Technological
University campus from June 18 - July 1. The theme of our site is
"Environment and Technology in the 21st Century" which will be incorporated
throughout explorations, evening presentations, workshops and various
recreational activities.

I've been asked to make an evening presentation on Tuesday, June 20th from
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. EDT on Desktop Videoconferencing. I've titled the
presentation " Desktop Videoconferencing - Gateway to Worldwide
Communication" . The audience will be made up of fifteen 11th grade
high school students and their counselors.

I am wondering if any of you folks might be available for a few minutes
tomorrow evening to say hello and interact with some of our participants?
I will have one Mac's set-up and running in our television studio with its
video output piped into a Yemm Scan Converter feeding two 30" and one 70"
monitor for the students to view. I am hoping to set-up an additional Mac
PPC in an office for the students to use as well.

If you might be able to help out ...please respond via E-Mail and I will
work out the details with you. I'm really looking forward to seeing the
expressions on the faces of the students when we begin "touring" the world
via the Internet.
