Wednesday morning

I thought you might like to know that there is a beta version of Internet
Phone version 4 available for download.

The reasons I call this to your attention are:

1) There are a number of people, including myself, who use IP audio in
conjunction with and simultaneously with ECU video. It appears that these
two applications work quite well together.

2) The interface for IP4 has been completely redesigned. I think you'd find
it interesting to take a look at. It is obvious that there was quite a
concerted attempt to make IP4's UI appeal to the mass market.

3) IP4 includes a white-board which is quite simple to use yet quite powerful.

4) It also includes a voice-mail capability which is interesting. Will we
have video-mail from CU one day? I wouldn't be surprised...!

All in all, it is worth a look.

PS URL is: user is: privbeta password is: atlit.
Since the developers posted this information on their public mailing list
the other day, announcing the beta as now "public", I will assume they would
have no objection to my passing on this information to you all.
