In the "for what it's worth" category I have not received a reply from
"developer@connectix.com" asking about an
"Interface Specifications Licensing Agreement"
for the Color QuickCam.
Does anyone have the "scoop" on this?

Subject: Request of info on Developer's program for "Color QuickCam"
Hello,
Will you ("Connectix") be offering a "Interface Specifications
Licensing Agreement" for the "Color QuickCam" to Linux system
developers similar to the one for the "QuickCam"?
Assuming yes ... when and how may I obtain a copy of the "Licensing
Agreement"?
Also, assuming yes to the first question ... will a "Color QuickCam"
purchase program be offered to developers? ...
When and how may I obtain a copy of the "Color QuickCam Purchase Form"?
Thank you for your time ... keep up the good work!
