Cornell problems on the Macintosh

I've had a problem with cornell 0.87b3 not recognising my video sources on my
Macintosh. As it turns out, the problem is that 0.87b3 doesn't like my digitizer
card (ATI Xclaim VR) and stops looking for other video sources. When I disable
the digitizer (killing the Apple Video Startup extension seems to be enough) and
then fire up cuseeme, all the other video sources become available. Once I
select one the program likes, I can enable the digitizer again and all is well.
Untill I try to select the ATI card as the video source that is. Then I get a
dialog box displayed, very briefly, saying something about configuration.

I think Jason mentioned something about a particular format that cornell likes
and ATI doesn't seem to support. Does anybody have more detail on the issue ?
