quickcam problem

Using most recent version of CU-SeeMe for the PowerMac on a 6100/60AV
Powermac, when I connect our QuickCam through either the modem or printer
port I get a message saying that that port is currently in use and I cannot
get the QuickCam to record.

Anyone have a suggestion?
