SLIP Error Messages

I've been able to run (or so I thought) Cu-Seeme via a SLIP connection
from home at 21.6KB, with the U.S.Robotics modem, and Windows on a PC.
Although the video was choppy, I thought this was nornal over the
modem line, until I got a complaint that I was bringing the SLIP
Server to its knees with the following error messages:

vmunix: sloutput restart
vmunix: ... q full - dropping packet
vmunix: zs1: silo overflow

These messages have filled the /var/adm/messages file on the SLIP Server
to over 2MB in one occasion where I was connected for only 30 minutes.

The messages only occur when I am running Cu-Seeme. They do not happen
when running Mosaic or Netscape or when FTPing files or anything
else run via SLIP.

Is it that Cu-Seeme is trying to push too much data through the serial
line, or do I have some time of hardware problem?

Anyone else experiencing these error messages?

Thanks,
Rick Janzso
