CU-SeeMe and windows on the net

Hi,

I'm a newby on cu-seeme stuff, and I'm interested in making it work on
my PC. I've downloaded the Beta 4 software, installed it, but the software
complains about my network name. The help files name a file "hosts" where
the software looks for the name, but around here we are probably using perhaps
another name or file format. Also, as I'm running windows from the network,
I don't have the privileages to access the \windows network directory
for writing, if this would be required for installing this "hosts" file (don't
see why it should, though).

Thus, I've not yet seen cu-seeme working, which I find a pity. Is
there a way of defining the file name, and the directory where it is going to
be in, or the format of the file? Is there other information that I should
give you to be more helpful in discribing the situation?

Thanks,
