Audio with 28.8K Modem - HELP!

I am using Version W084B7 of CU-SeeMe with a U.S. Robotics 28.8K modem and a
Micron P133 Milennia.

I have only received audio from NASA and that audio is clipped, as though a
squelch control on a walkie-talkie was not set correctly. The audio also has
a strange rapid echo-like quality on some words. I have not been able to
hear audio on any other reflector to which I have connected.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
