Setting up CU-SEEME

I am running a 486DX66 with 8Mb RAM. I use Win 3.11.
I work from a SLIP connection that uses Winsock and
Netscape through a Zoom FaxModem 14,4.
I am in many ways a neophyte with setting up. I knew
enough to place CU-SEEME in the autoexec.bat path.
I have changed the host file in Winsock to my IP and
name. I get a host of error messages when I try to
run, starting with the following: Error setting timer
for audio services. Then the Trumpet icon appears.
Then the CU-SEEME nameplate appears along with the
basic window. Gesthostname0failed(11002) is next.
A string of error messages moves me out. Am I setting
up incorrectly, or have I just forgotten some fun-
damental rule of the road? Perhaps Win.ini files need
updating? Please help.....
