PC/TCP and CU-SeeMe problems

Hello all,

I am running a version of PC/TCP from FTP Software that seems to be
causing all sorts of problems with CU-SeeMe. I have tried running
CU-SeeMe (Cornell version - haven't tried WP yet) on machines with and
without a Connectix QuickCam, but to no avail. The following error
messages appear at startup:

"Gethostbyname () failed (11004)"
"Problems with receive Network Initialization"
"Unable to create the invisible Network Window"

Cu-SeeMe will give me all of these wonderful errors and then refuse to
connect to a site. In fact, on some of the machines, nothing happens
when you choose Connect. No dialog box, nothing....

Winsock is installed as supplied with PC/TCP. Netscape and other apps
seem to work fine. We are also running Novell NetX drivers with
PC/TCP's ODIPKT driver. Machines running latest versions of LAN
Workplace from Novell have no problems.

In each case, there was already a copy of ctl3d.dll and msvideo.dll in
the c:\windows directory, so I renamed the ones in the Cu-SeeMe
directory.

Any clues? Anyone know if specific versions of PC/TCP have problems
with CU-SeeMe.
