aaah the magical word: budget....

we've been broadcasting lectures and concerts for the last 6 months or so
and this is what we do:
a) audio: i use the sound from the mixing desk and plug this into a tape
recorder (for archiving purposes) and output that to the mike input of the

b)video: i just use an apple TV/Video system (which is very cheap...) and
hook up the camera to it.

voila: we're located in Belgium (near France) and we've had people from
every continent mailing us about perfect sound, and video:-->> well you
know how comatose cu-seeme can be. On our LAN however we get 10 to 15
frames a sec (this could be more with a better videoboard....)
